My name is Michael and I am a professional golfer. I’ve been golfing since I was little, following in my father’s footsteps. This game has always brought me pleasure, calmed me down and calmed me down.

Recently I decided to create this blog to share useful information with those who are just starting to play golf and professionals. I really hope that my blog will be of interest to you. And I look forward to getting your feedback.

A little bit about golf
No one knows for sure when people started playing golf. Some historians claim that as early as the first century BC, the Romans played the game, only under the name “paganica”, using a curved stick and a stuffed leather ball. The Chinese claim that their ancestors also played a similar game, called “chuivan,” though later than the Romans, between the eighth and bXIV centuries. However, more or less accurately known only that the modern game of golf appeared in Scotland in the XV century during the reign of King James II. Who soon banned the game (in 1457) because it allegedly distracted from archery training.

Golf is usually played in groups of two to four people, moving around the golf course together. Each participant takes turns playing with his or her own ball. The ball must be played from where it rests, except in unusual cases where the rules allow you to move the ball to a slightly better position. In a “stroke competition”, the total number of strokes used to move the ball from and to the hole is recorded as the player’s score for that individual hole. The player who uses the least number of strokes to complete the course is the winner.
